We’re on a mission to create the most welcoming dance studios in LA! Our dance students come to us from a diversity of backgrounds and ages with various levels of dance expertise and experience. SoHo Dance LA is for anyone who is looking to take their dance moves to the next level in a safe and encouraging environment.
The SoHo Difference
SoHo Dance is more than a dance studio, we’re a social club. A space to unwind, let go, and learn how to confidently dance, together. Founder, Raul Santiago, has created an alternative to the dance routines that felt like work. He has developed an inspiring, results-oriented system that is as efficient as it is joyful — an experience that’s the best part of your day, that can transform your body, mind, and movement.
Preparing for class
Grab a water bottle, and arrive 15 minutes early to meet a team member who will help you sign in and give you a tour.
Come in your favorite casual and comfortable clothes that will not hinder your movement. Proper dance shoes are preferred, but if you do not have them for your first class, we can help guide you.
Tailored Classes, a bit unconventional
We teach classes tailored to each student without slowing a class down – just one of our unique qualities. All of our dance instructors follow this philosophy while adding their unique personality to communicate in a way that YOU understand.
The 45-Minute Class
Typically, we begin with a warm-up, move on to turn patterns, basic footwork, lead follow tips, and refocus with arm styling, all while having fun as you dance.
We go over essential elements that will help you at every stage of your dancing.
Back to Back Classes?
We’ve designed our class schedules so you can easily take classes back to back. The classes immediately following build off the previous class so you can build your foundation and make progress quicker.
